VIDEO · ‘A touch of Art during a lockdown’, a new piece of work by Iban González

Iban Gonzalez releases his last work A touch of Art during a lockdown, where various professional and non-professional artists take part: ‘I have collaborated with some friends and people I didn’t know but whose work I admire. Everyone has been great, both their commitment and the content of their videos’, he says.

According to the Basque, ‘this time I have been coordinating and not directing. The artists have filmed their own shots and I have put them all together into a single piece’.

The video creation lasts around 10 minutes and shows different artists from different disciplines (singers, dancers, photographers, painters, actors and different instruments) working during the lockdown in their houses: ‘There are some that are starting and others more established but all are amazing professionals’, confirms Iban.

The intention of this video is to make a tribute to all the people that love, and work in, art and currently are suffering the effects of this crisis created by the pandemic. It has been quite interesting mixing so many different approaches and creating the rhythm of the film’ affirms.

The video has 8 different artists (4 women and 4 men) from different locations.
